Memorandum Reflection

This was the second reflection of the course. These questions reminded me of my difficulties in collecting data and my academic need to improve. My response is shown as a paragraph below the questions.

Have you done similar type of writing in the past?
What problems did you encounter while you were working on this assignment? How did you solve them?
What does this assignment reveal about you as a learner?
How would you rate your Memo compared with the student samples that we discussed in class? Better or worse? Why?
What would you change if you had a chance to do this piece over again.

I have not done a type of writing similar to the memorandum. The problems that I encountered while I was working on this assignment were enriching myself with all the information available about the NAC parking lot, and how it affected students. I solved the problems by asking questions to students around the campus to understand their perspective on not having where to park and by reading the CCNY parking website. What this assignment reveals about me as a learner is that I am investigative and always support my viewpoint with provable information rather than assumptions. I would rate my Memo at the same level as the student samples that we discussed in class because it follows a specific structure, and it is concise. I would not change anything about this piece if had to do it over again.
